Each of the essential steps on this interior journey, Renew to Return aims to take you deeper into the heart of what it means to become more intimate with the Guide of all guides, our Lord Jesus Christ, through the power and presence of the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit. Each step will also introduce you to scriptural texts on the life of prayer and complementary sayings from classical masters of faith formation like Saint John of the Cross (1542-1591). Together, on this journey, we will come to know that all of us desire that our inner and outer house will be and become a "house of prayer" (Isaiah 5:6-7).

Speaker Bio: Dr. Susan Muto, PhD, Executive Director of the Epiphany Institute of Formative Spirituality, is a native of Pittsburgh and a renowned speaker, author, and teacher. A single lay woman living her vocation in the world, she is engaged in full-time formation ministry. Professor Muto received her PhD in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh in 1972. She is the recipient of the 2014 Aggiornamento Award presented by the Parish and Community Library Services Section of the Catholic Library Association. An expert in literature and spirituality, Dr. Muto continues to teach courses on an adjunct basis at many schools, seminaries, and centers of higher learning. In addition to her service at the Institute, she leads conferences, seminars, and workshops throughout the world.
